Adfam is the leading charity in England for all the millions of people affected by someone else’s drinking, drug use or gambling. In 2024, Adfam celebrates its 40th birthday and throughout its 40 years Adfam has been dedicated to supporting families affected by substance use.
Adfam held its first Carol Concert at St Bride’s Church in 1997, and since then the event has become a key part of its history.
The event is a wonderful opportunity to come together with friends and colleagues, celebrate families, sing some uplifting carols, listen to the incredible St Bride’s Choir, and hear readings from Adfam’s celebrity supporters, including the winning entries from the Family Voices creative writing competition.
The concert also raises vital funds to help Adfam continue its important work supporting and campaigning for families affected by substance use.
A number of celebrity guests will be giving a readings at the event including Fi Glover (Adfam’s Patron) Alice Arnold, Anneka Rice, Deidre Sanders, Joan Bakewell, Louise Minchin, Martha Kearney and Peter Curran.
