Performing Recovery
The opposite of addiction is creation

Performing Recovery is a non-profit that supports and promotes the arts as both a pathway to recovery and a powerful form of expression for those affected by addiction. We do this through the quarterly Performing Recovery Magazine, the Performing Recovery Podcast, a monthly newsletter, and regular events, both online and in person.

We believe the arts have a unique ability to support healing and transform the conversation around addiction. We also believe that people in recovery can create incredible art.

If you’re an artist in recovery or you are interested in exploring creative expression as part of your recovery journey, this is the place for you. If you’d like to learn more about how the arts can support your own or someone else’s recovery, please read our magazine or get in touch at info@recovery-arts.org
