The Antonia Rolls Exhibition, Addicts and People Who Love them, open at the Fishing Quarter Gallery, Brighton on Monday, 19 August at 6pm. The Exhibition runs until Sunday, 25th August.

Antonia Rolls is an artist who works with themes of dying, grief, and loss. Her project, “Addicts and Those Who Love Them,” was first shown as part of the Brighton Fringe in 2021. This exhibition of paintings, informed by the experiences of people impacted by the addictions of others, also includes workshops and talks. The exhibition was part of the 2023 Edinburgh Festival and featured images of Antonia’s own son, who died from addiction in February of that year.
You can read a reflection of her Edinburgh Festival show here. Antonia was interviewed for Issue 7 of Performing Recovery.
