Writer/Director and Director of the Recovery Project, Sean Daniels, is requesting 1-minute videos for a new initiative with Live Tampa Bay.

The videos should be from individuals who have struggled with addiction or family members affected by it. They will be used in a social media campaign and in targeted ads in areas where the message is particularly needed.
Every story of recovery, support, and understanding helps to diminish the stigma surrounding addiction. Each recorded story has the potential to save lives.
Participants are asked to record videos on a phone (preferably in horizontal orientation), answering any of the following questions. The project focuses on the theme ‘Recovery Is Possible.’ Aim for a minute-long video (since longer videos tend to be less watched) and share what resonates with you.
- Tell us: your first name, your occupation, where you live, and if you are living with or in recovery from addiction.
- What are you proud of in your life that being in recovery has enabled you to experience or achieve?
- There are many pathways to recovery; what is yours? Has it evolved over time?
- What do you wish more people understood about recovery? About addiction?
- What brings you joy these days?
- What message would you share with someone who is struggling?
- Is Recovery Possible?
Please email your video directly to sd (at) livetampabay.org
