The Creative High, a film documenting nine artists in recovery, will be shown as part of the one day Addiction-Recovery Arts Futures conference taking place at Liverpool Hope University on Friday 16th June 2023.

The film, from Director Adriana Marchione and producer Dianne Griffin documents the nine artists as they are transformed by creativity in their turbulent search for identity and freedom.

The one-day conference will be a conversation about the establishment of a sustainable national and international network of recovery-arts that provides a holistic and innovative approach to creative art practices in the treatment of addiction recovery. It will feature a performance from Fallen Angels Dance Theatre, as well as speakers from across the addiction recovery art sector. More details can be found here.
